Bit of Pixelmatoring, just to spice things up a little.

Inset day at college on Tues which meant I was ordered to go to two lectures that were of little use (and one which made me angry it was so ham fistedly delivered) and one I wanted to.

Ironically I doodled this in the one lecture I enjoyed. But I still listened and occasionally took notes.

(Brian drawn on iPad 2 using Brushes app/stylus sock).

Also: drew this last night while happily chatting to a friend on Skype. These two images may have almost single handedly saved my sanity. For this week if nothing else…

(tree drawn on MBP using Pixelmator :) ).

Doodle done in between bouts of miserable marking…

Pixelmator, which is WAY more fun than marking work is…

Different doodle, different software. Back to Pixelmator for a while and having fun as always. This came out of the process of throwing ideas at the screen in a break between lessons.

Twas speaking with a friend who’s going for a job interview next week and chatting through possible lesson plans. Something sprung to mind and this came out of that twenty minutes later. I’ll come back to it at some point to finish it off (I’ve got an idea where it’s going) but thought I’d post it up as a progressy type thing.

Doing some doodles in Pixelmator for a much needed change in pace/scenery. First doodle/scribble here. Think it’s fairly obvious what world event was on my mind as it shaped up…

Doodled this yesterday on my iPod touch which is still getting about as much as use as the iPad is… iPad’s getting there, and as lovely as it has been from day one, but Brushes is still by no means as simple a fit on the bigger screen as it feels on the smaller one. Witness this character which I only drew because the two I’ve been working on on the Pad haven’t been working out as smoothly as I want them to.

Loads of Pixelmator additions to the pic, well, 20% or so? A few colours, a few things fixed, couple of highlights etc as well as the gradient background fairly obviously… But loads of fun as ever to doodle on. I do have a larger image type thing in mind with the Marmitey’s I’ve come up with and a few extras but the likelihood of it ever coming to be is as low as any of my ideas coming to the sort of fruition I dream of…

Crazy dayzy…

Sigh, life is full. Sometimes fun though, can’t complain.

Anyhow did this for a client who I like loads:

and this for the fun of it. It was fun that had a downside. I drew the pic in my garden at the end of a hectic and busy day and found, the next morning, that one side of my face had swollen up around a bug bite I barely remember receiving. Beginning to go down now but it does still feel like someone’s stamping on my face.

Hohoho…

Doodled this as part of showing someone how Brushes app works. The first half was just me sketching as normal, the finish off just for the fun of completing the image… Then I finished off the picture in Pixelmator with a couple of filters while watching 24.

Zing! How’s that for multi-tasking…

Had forty five minutes waiting to cover a class which never turned up so carried on with the trees pic. Here it am:
